Sargonian No. 555

My name is Tahbral Bhetani, and I am a Sargonian. I’m the Director of Public Relations and Chief Historian for our Space Bureau.

We Sargonians live in the Althari Galaxy, known by you as Andromeda. We know your Milky Way as the Valusian Galaxy. There are 2.5 million light-years of space separating our galaxies, which equals 23.5 quintillion kilometers (km). Our home planet, Shakalin Ur, is in a planetary system we call, in our Akkadian, Sargon Istan, or Sargon One in English.

The story that follows tells of Earth’s impending disasters. It also tells of my Sargonian civilization’s past and how we overcame and avoided some of the same catastrophes you face.

Astronomical calculations show that our star’s continuing expansion is causing a slow, unstoppable increase in solar wind and radiation. Like our planetary system, yours also faces a future apocalypse.

What follows covers our Sargonian year, 2337, to our current year, 8112, and chronicles the chain of events that started in your Earth’s 2398 BC, ending in 2065 AD. The story recounts how two civilizations came together to save billions before their solar systems end and the likely extinction of their people.
